January To Be Famous
January to be famous!
I decided to start with this because those whom we thought could lead us well are now gradually leading us astray just for fame. Fame has actually gotten into people's head that they do anything for publicity. At times, they arranged it, while some publicity happened naturally. But we all know the truth.
I got so irritated when my own Bros, @donjazzy and @olamide opened the stage with their publicity stunt that did not last up to 48hours.

ICC Petition: Falana Replies Okonjo-iweala
In my application to the Special Prosecutor of the International
Criminal Court (ICC) last week, I requested for investigation into the
allegations of crimes against humanity committed by serving and retired
military officers and their civilian accomplices. Having diverted over
$8 billion earmarked for the procurement of arms and armament for
counter insurgency operations I argued that the suspects who aided and
abetted the dreaded Boko Haram sect in the barbaric killing of over 25
soldiers and civilians including children and the displacement of 2
million people ought to be prosecuted at the ICC.

Nigerians Are Lazy
Just yesterday, there was an argument in the department between a bunch
of us. The topic was about the laziness of Nigerians. While most of my
coursemates were of the opinion that Nigerians are lazy, I was of the
opposite. They stated reasons to back up their points. From the fact
that they see beggars on the road to those who sleep under bridges. They
even went ahead to use the school and department as examples.
Why Most Marriages Never Exceed 10years
The very moment you say you are accepting a man's proposal for marriage,
you are coming under subjection. Subjection is not torment.
A man who fears the Lord doesn't take that for-granted to abuse and take due advantage of you.
Subjecting to your spouse is a command from God. Because the man is the head of the home as Christ is the head of the church, that is not the time or reason to get so proud and become fool of yourself to the extent that you cannot respect your wife and listen to her many good words and advice.
The reason why many marriages never last is because the woman
is so highly placed and doesn't need any man to control her or be in
charge of her. Because of her degree from harvard and position with
Chevron, she see no reason why an ordinary bank branch manager or a
medical doctor with one small health centre in port harcourt would
control her or tell her what to do when she controls men in her work
place and thousands of people calling her Ma/madam. A man who fears the Lord doesn't take that for-granted to abuse and take due advantage of you.

Pupils Sit And Lie On Floor In Akwa-Ibom Communities’ Schools
OYOKU ASANG—PUPILS reluctantly recline and sit on the floor in
ramshackle classrooms to learn at public primary schools in Oyoku Asang
and Okisu communities, Okobo Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State
because of the state government’s inability to provide them adequate
chairs, benches and other basic education requirements. Uncomfortable
parents/guardians are pulling out their children/wards in their numbers
from the ramshackle public primary schools, citing unspeakable
infrastructure decay and neglect by the state government.
Findings by Niger Delta Voice showed that pupils, indeed, sit down on bare floor to be taught at Government Primary School, Oyoku Asang, due to lack of chairs, while teachers deployed to the schools by government typically abandon their posting. We also learned that the Government Primary School, Oyoku, has only one decrepit block of four classrooms forcing primary four and five pupils to squeeze themselves into one classroom.

Why We Can’t Hand Over Tompolo To JTF, EFC
WARRI—IJAW elders in Delta State, yesterday, said it was impracticable
for them to hand over the former General Officer Commanding, GOC, of the
Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, MEND, Government
Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, to security agencies because they neither
have the power to do so nor know his (Tompolo) whereabouts currently.
They also said that they do not have any information that Tompolo was involved in the three-day bombing of crude oil and gas pipelines in the state, while many see the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC’s case against him as a form of persecution.
